Looking for the best, the BIGGEST, and the boldest family resorts out there!

Okay, all of this budgeting has us needing a major vacation! I am looking for the best pool resort out there. Huge resort with a wave pool, rides, toddler area, etc. We've tried the Great Wolf Lodge Resort in Charlotte with limited satisfaction. It was way overpriced and simply "okay." I would have rather gone to Disney for the money we spent.

So, where do you all go? The Wisconsin Dells? Nickelodeon Theme Park? Myrtle Beach? We need something kid-friendly and with a phenomenal pool area.
