I just came across a website called Social Spark and so far, so interesting. This website connects advertisers and bloggers on one site. This provides the bloggers opportunities to be chosen to market items for the advertisers. In turn, the advertisers receive fresh readership through the blogs, which means more marketing for them. I love the idea and am anxious to get the ball rolling. It will be a great way for me to offer you giveaways as well as honest critiques of what is currently out on the market.
Signing up was simple. You head over to the site and put in some general information. Then you are asked to choose some categories of interest that appear on your blog. After that, you are set to go. All you do is wait to hear back from them as to whether or not your blog was approved. I would imagine that once it is, the sponsors will reach out to you.
So, again, if you are interested in monetizing your blog, this may be one avenue to take in order to make that happen. You can always come back here and let me know how your experience went. Mine, couldn't have been any easier.
Follow my family and I as we spend the next year surviving on one income without using our credit cards! Is this even possible for a family of four in today's recession? Follow along and find out. I'll also be checking out businesses run by mamas, the latest and greatest for kids, as well as just being real about motherhood!
